KTdict Chinese Dictionary App Reviews

I use this dictionary all the time in my classes. But with the new update I just got today, it simply wont open. When I try to open it it crashes. Please fix so I can give you five stars.

We have been using this dictionary since we first bought an apple mobile device. It has been the best Chinese English Dictionary!!! But the new version is JUST NOT WORKING!!! It will not even open! Pls fix!!!

Every time I am stuck thinking about a word that I just cant remember or just forgot the right way to say it, ur always there for me , great app!!

Love this app but the new releases are not working properly. Trying to import txt files to the reader causes the application to crash. Also, cannot import words from iPhone to iPad.

This app is very accurate. I always cross reference this with my text books and its always spot on. The app is easy to use and you can even enable the character writing pad to find a character. This app even has a massive list of Chinese idioms and unique sayings. If you study Chinese, get this and it will save you from carrying a massive dictionary around.

Best user friendly interface of all I have tried. So good that Ive taught mom to use as well. Would like to see ability to translate entire sentences to really make it more versatile.

I use this on my iPad. The dictionary is solid. I purchased the flash card app as well and that constantly crashes. I gave up and went with Pleco even though it is more expensive.

Its great and very useful but I also want to know the 部首筆畫 for some of the characters

Love. Love. LOVE this app. Free, easy-to-use, and outstanding. I can translate idioms and look up phrases as well as single characters within a blink. This has been so helpful in my Chinese considering that I cannot find a good Chinese to English paperback dictionary for the life of me. Plus, Im cheap, and its FREE!!! (Yes, I did have to emphasize that.) 这个应用程式真好用！我很喜欢！：）

Today we received an error notice regarding my wifes cloud data base stating her sets had become unavailable or corrupted. This is six months work lost. My first question is to the developer: is there any way to recover this lost work? Second: how do I back up to my laptop in the future? A very unhappy day.

Its an accurate and easy to use dictionary but it takes AGES to load. Very frustrating. Start up time for app is too long.

I love the new icon haha, but i agree with the other review, maybe the white background for the letters was not a good change. Also wish there was ㄅㄆㄇ pronunciation option in addition to pin yin. Overall I love the app, it is so useful! Especially when no internet is required for it to work.

Ive used this app for a few years now, its definitely one of my favorites. Its been constantly updated since its release too, thanks Klaus for the great app!

The old version is fine. The upgrade is useless!

Advanced Chinese speaker here. This dictionary does not provide enough related, or close, characters within a search. A great feature if few other apps is that when a stroke is off the similar characters will also appear in the search. This app is too hit or miss. Clean layout and easy to use though.
