Perfect app for Chinese learners and users. A must have for anyone who is involved in Chinese. App would be even better if they add pronunciation (size will be higher due to voice files but will become the ultimate app)

Used to be great, now crashes all the time. Paid for the premium version, created a word bank that is now unusable since the app freezes all the time. iPhone 5 iOS 7/iOS8, hope update is coming soon.

I like this program very much. The dictionary is full enough, interface runs very fast. I was in beatiful China with my son this summer, we used it a lot (we traveled by ourselved, without tourguides). Thank you!

Started to use a long time ago. Wish more functionality. A few example phrases. Really good for the beginners, but further on need smth more.

I will buy this dictionary if you guys will make in settings possibility to show lia pinyin and then lia english. I bet its not that hard. This function can save lots of time. I always have to scroll all the way down in order to see pinyin. Its so frustrating.

Quite rich and complete. And free!

This is a well organized dictionary and its obvious a lot of work and thought went into it. Lots of clear display options greatly assist learning written Chinese, which is a highly visual written language. The program readily accepts Chinese characters, pinyin, or English. Audio pronunciation is also included and is accurate. The exceptional advantage to all these features is that they are all available within the program; no online access is required. Well done.

This app beats all others. My wife is from China and both of us use this app in preference to her Chinese apps and over the apps which I previously used. The app contains so many practical features such as: - audio pronunciation - pinyin & Chinese characters - flash cards Finally, the vocabulary is huge. Dont waste your money on any other app. Dont waste your time on other freebies. (After several years of use, I actually paid for this one!)

Ive have been studying Chinese for a while now. I am currently living in China. I bought the app add on for the flash card trainer. However there are many words that it mispronounces. Example：呢 (pinyin:nē) the app pronounces it sounding like knee; then 没关系 (pinyin: méi gūan xì) the app pronounces the 系(xì) like with a sound like the word "eye" (s/eye)....please fix or refund me my money.

I had been using this apps for a long time. I loved it! But now I cant even open it after I installed the latest version. Now what?

This was the best Chinese app I ever had. The latest update broke the app and I cant go back!!

I just wanted to echo the last reviewers comments. This app is extremely helpful and easy to use. If you are studying Chinese, you should get this app!

Great app until update. Then the app opens, but then closes on its own.

Previous version worked fine. This version 1.9 is flawed. Tried rebooting to stabilize but no luck. Crashes within seconds of opening.

Currently in Beijing and I believe this is saving my life, despite the years of Chinese studied. It has 98% of the words I need and use regularly, and it has never crashed on me the months Ive used it, in the U.S. and abroad.

Worst app I ever used...

Ive been back in the US for twelve years, and in that time my Chinese speaking and reading abilities have suffered. Now while Im in church I can use my Chinese-English bible, along with this dictionary. My vocabulary and reading ability is returning. Thanks so much for making this great tool available. Definitely more perks than a normal dictionary. English, characters and Pinyin!
